Reginald has lived in Toledo's Old West End his whole life.
Naturally, when he thought about purchasing a house - he knew he wanted to stay local."I feel like having a home is a source of pride," says Reginald. However, it also meant his aging home would need a lot of tender, love, and care - including help from Habitat!
Reginald was accepted into Habitat's A Brush With Kindness home repair program, and soon volunteers gathered together to transform his home with a lot of paint and brushes.
"I am very goal oriented. I enjoy seeing the progression. It is rewarding and being able to work alongside the volunteers and Habitat has definitely been a positive experience," add Reginald. Need help with your house? Find out more about Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's Home Repair Program.
