Meet the Future Homeowner: Jocelyn
Jocelyn is a mother of three who is nearing the end of her journey through the MVHFH Homeownership program!
In 2021, Jocelyn experienced health issues that required her to relearn how to do daily tasks. In October 2022, Jocelyn applied and qualified for Maumee Valley Habitat’s homeownership program, beginning her homeownership journey. Jocelyn has been attending homeownership classes and putting in her sweat equity hours alongside volunteer groups that have helped build her home.
To Jocelyn, owning a home means the opportunity to get back on her feet and provide a place for her children to call home.
