Make a Difference
Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our local community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

My children are my life and we needed a new start to better our lives - that is this home. I want to raise them with a good foundation and structure. They will have a better future and believe that anything is possible.

Habitat In the News
In 2013 Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity (MVHFH) added roof replacements to their affordable housing initiatives in Lucas County. On May 29, MVHFH celebrated the completion of its 500th replacement.
The elaborate playhouses, 29 in all, were part of the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's Playhouse Project's 8th annual Blitz Build.
More than a dozen organizations and the WTOL 11 team helped to build several playhouses, which will go to local families.
